Media Operations Coordinator

Overview:

Wondersauce is looking for a media-savvy media operations coordinator who has background placing, monitoring, and reporting on digital ads to join our team in our New York office. In this role, you’ll be working across multiple projects, collaborating with marketing strategists, media strategists, and product managers to place and optimize paid ads and tell stories with data to inform decisions. You’ll be responsible for using data to aid the team in solving problems, driving growth, and informing actionable strategies for our clients.

 

We are looking for someone who is curious about numbers and loves understanding data. The ideal candidate is collaborative, interested in consumer behavior, and knows how to derive insights, sparking creative ideas that drive results and grow brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to derive behaviorally-driven insights that help us meet clients’ business objectives
  • Traffic digital campaigns in DCM and place ads across social platforms
  • Troubleshoot internal and client tagging, tracking, and reporting issues as needed.
  • Manage ongoing campaign delivery and pacing across several accounts to ensure we’re on track with budgets.
  • Collaborate cross-discipline (strategy, media, community management) to measure campaign objectives, and optimize based on data
  • Work closely with clients, and prepare and present client-facing reports
  • Work with internal creative teams have specs and due dates for all plan assets
  • Primary and secondary research
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Recommend the best allocation of clients’ media budgets

The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 2-3 years of experience working at an advertising, marketing, or media agency
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Interest in working with diverse brands
  • Experience with native social platforms ad managers (Facebook/instagram and Twitter), as well as planning/ad campaign management software (DCM).
  • Must have a strong foundation in media math basics and advertising tag/pixel tracking.
  • Experience with ad tag management platforms (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager) or analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Omniture) is a plus.
  • Understanding of digital media planning including display, video, social and mobile media, both via direct to publisher and programmatic channels
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Interest in learning new technologies and tools as needed (A/B testing, cross-device targeting)
  • Strong communication + presentation skills
