In launching a digital brand with a heavy focus on the scent profile, we had to get creative. Using research on the close relationship between our sense of smell and memory, we turned the industry standard for describing scent on its head. The result was a uniquely effective way to convey a scent experience without having to actually smell the product.
We created the green stick as the heart of the brand. It establishes an easily memorable visual pattern that is instantly recognizable on any shelf (or ‘shelfie’); a lust-worthy object amidst the sea of black and white luxe body products. All packaging and manufacturing utilized sustainable materials and processes; and we shot all the photography and created ads that conveyed the brand’s premium ingredients, product efficacy, and scent stories.
